Filming with Harley!!!!

Last week on Thursday a film teacher named Harley came in to teach us how to film. He taught us how to use the camera,boom pole,how to direct and how to act. Then he showed us a film he made called Incoming call. I am really looking forward to him coming back if he does. I have learnt a lot from Harley and i will definitely use in further projects.

Today in mahi Tahi we did a taste test challenge so we got into teams of 4. Two people had to be blind folded and one of then would be the taster and the other would be the guesser the taster would taste the given item and describe what it is with out say what it is the item that where give in out where Mamet,mustard,icing sugar,kupe,golden surp ,Chile source,baking soda,lime soda,coco powder and more i really enjoyed this and i think your school should do it to

Last week we where learning about Landmarks we were given a list of landmarks to choose from then we made a poster. mine is on my blog go check it out. and today we had a play on google earth it is amazing you can look at any landmark in the world its like  you stay at  home but traveling the world for freeright at your computer  the land marks i went to: the Eiffel tower, Statue of Liberty, the White house and the Sky tower

The country I really want to vist

The country i really want to visit...

is France. It is a country found on the western side of Europe. 

Why I want to go there: the main reason is to see the Eiffel Tower and go up to the top and go up to the cafe inside it. Did you know that the Eiffel Tower is a power station? Another place i want to go to is Disneyland. It is a theme park based on Disney. 

I also want to go to France so I can try foods like French onion soup, baguette and chocolate mousse. 

The capital of France is Paris. The city i want to stay at is Paris at the BxB hotel in Paris.

how to wirte a good info report

This is how to write an Information Report. To start it off make a draft about what you are doing it about. Then when ready start your story, if youŕe doing an animal it would go like this: habitat then diet, then prey, then looks like or about a country it would go like this: where it is, foods, major exports, national celebrations then cultures.
Make sure to add detail and remember mims (make sure it makes senses) and cops (capital letters organisation punctuation spelling).

My 200 dollar note

Today in class we have been making 200 dollar notes.

I chose Sir Peter Blake because he helped New Zealand win the Americas World Cup and was shot and killed by pirates in the middle of his trip to South America.
I chose a port because Sir Peter Blake was a sailor and he would have parked his boat there every now and then.
I chose the blue penguin because it swims out in the ocean like Sir Peter  Blake sails his boat.
 

How to write a good biography

First what is a biography? a biography is a piece of writing but it is about someone. Now let me show you how to write a good biography. Start off by doing their early life then what it is about when they were born, where they grew up with their family. Then do their adult life or how old they are today. Fun facts are also good to put in. Here are some things to remember while writing anything: make it make sense (mims) capital letters, organization, punctuation, spelling (cops).
